Rubbermaid Roughneck RM134501 Outdoor Garbage Can Lid Replacement Plug

Ah, the Rubbermaid RM134501 45 Gallon Outdoor Waste Garbage Bin. An instant classic in the world of waste management, you've seen these garbage cans around for years. For some reason they've got a weird hole in the lid, and that hole has a plug, and that plug eventually degrades or goes missing. This sounds like a minor problem--why not just leave the hole unplugged? Here's why: I live in an area with a growing mosquito problem. Having a hole in the lid allows water in, and standing water means mosquitoes. And keeping other bugs such as flies out of your garbage bin is a good idea too.So I made this replacement plug. It's a simple design, but that's all you need. I've tried to optimize the design for quick and easy printability. It costs around 6 cents worth of filament. It works with PLA, it works with PETG, it works with TPU. If it breaks, you can print another in just a few minutes. And if you print the one with the Printables Logo, your garbageman will know you are cool.I've included an STL with and without the Printables logo. I've also included the Fusion 360 design file.If you make this, I'd love to see it in action!
