Rubberband powered counter rotating flying machine
thingiverse
while this is a simplistic model, i envision these as a more elegant way for devices to function at higher altitudes such as cell phone towers. in contrast, current static towers are often bulky and hard to hide. a slow flying, electrically powered version of this design could potentially lift itself into the air and blend seamlessly into its surroundings as it moves continuously, unlike stationary structures currently used. Instructions To get this model to fly correctly you'll need a bearing, approximately 22mm or no more than 24mm in size. the bearing will aid smooth rotation for the two sides while attached to each side with a rubber band. once ready to test flight, simply twist the rubber band. skewers, as straight as possible, will serve as wings; alternatively you can edit the tinker cad file to suit your wing design preferences.
