Finding rubber vibration dampers is a real challenge, and cutting your own can be downright frustrating. That's why I've come up with my own method of making mine. Check out this video to see how it's done: https://youtu.be/qR4UEhimXoo. I offer two sizes: 2.5mm and 2mm. If you need a custom size, just let me know - I'm happy to make adjustments. One thing you'll need to do is bore out the hole with a 1/8" drill bit. To get a smooth finish, don't use a drill - instead, twist the bit through by hand. This will allow the dowel to slide and spin smoothly. I recommend printing these dampers in PLA for the best results. The action with the razor blade is much smoother when using PLA, unlike ABS which can stick and cause problems, as you can see in the video demonstration. Additionally, working with ABS may require modifying the STL file to fit your needs. Here's what you'll need: * 1/8" dowel * Razor blade * Rubber bands (optional) * 3mm or 1/8" ID x 7mm or 1/4" OD silicone tubing (I get mine from McMaster-Carr at http://www.mcmaster.com/#51135k16/=14g1jgj)
