Rubber feet adapter 3030 extrusion
thingiverse
The old style rubber feet that came with my Prusa i3 MK3S would not stay in place in the 3030 extrusion frame. This adapter fixes that problem. The same rubber feet are easily inserted with the use of a blunt instrument. I used a rounded end allen wrench. After the foot is inserted into the adapter, the adapter is inserted into the t-slot of the 3030 aluminum extrusion. A quarter turn clockwise will lock the foot in place with a click. To remove, use a small screw driver to pull down the spring tab while turning counter clockwise. The geometry required some small custom supports for the "T" at the top of the part and also for the spring tab. Simply break away the single width supports. I used an Xacto knife. Be careful not to break the spring tab when removing its support.
