Rubber ducky tire valve cap
thingiverse
I'm working on learning how to import STL files (or any arbitrary mesh) into Fusion 360 and then add parametric features on top of that. I owe thanks to the folks who answered Bill14's question about this exact process for pointing me in the right direction, specifically to Autodesk's KB page on importing STLs to Fusion360. After checking it out and experimenting a bit, I finally figured it out. For some reason, I had previously downloaded the source file, but it didn't look like something I could work with, so I decided to start from scratch. Here we go, making a valve cap by drilling a threaded hole into something.
