Initially, the model was divided into four sections using different colors. You can view it at [http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:106994](http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:106994). The original creation is attributed to slamzee and was published on June 21, 2013. There are three versions of the model that have been updated over time. The first one (RubberDuckMultiColor--01.blend) was made using Blender 2.68a on September 25, 2013. The second version (RubberDuckMultiColor--02.blend), also created with the same software, followed on September 26, 2013. In this iteration, the depth of the eye and mouth holes was increased, bolt shapes were changed to fork-like, and the ballast position was adjusted. The third version (RubberDuckMultiColor--03.blend) came out on October 13, 2013, using the same software as its predecessors.
