Enhance Your Semi-Auto Rubber Band Gun Experience I utilized MacGyver's Semi-Auto Rubber Band Gun design from Thingiverse but only printed the internal components from his upload. I also incorporated the Improved Ratched Wheel from another upload. For the rest of the gun, I used Protheus's design that splits and keys together for easy assembly. The parts printed out marvelously! I encountered issues with rubber bands catching on the trigger catch or ratchet wheel due to edges getting in between them. To resolve this, I designed a cap for the top of the gun, gluing it on so the ratchet wheel clears the back edge. When the trigger is pulled, the trigger catch hides under the cap, allowing for a smoother rubber band path. I added slight grooves to the cap's top for rubber bands to sit in using a round file, which may be incorporated into a new model design. The result? A highly reliable and improved Semi-Auto Rubber Band Gun!
