Rubber Band Gun

I discovered a wooden firearm similar to this one on a market in The Netherlands, where it was revealed that the firing mechanism was thoroughly detailed in an expired patent. The drawings from the patent were enhanced using Photoshop, then recreated in Inkscape and brought together in Blender. Upon test fitting (as shown in the image), I made some adjustments to the mechanism to make it run more smoothly. The gun body is a precise replica of the one described in the patent, but with a few cool modifications added, including a hand grip stock and a safety switch. The video demonstrates that firing the gun results in rapid, consecutive shooting of rubber bands. This toy would be perfect for young boys to enjoy.
