I was rummaging through a street a few years ago and stumbled upon a small extruded-aluminum clamp, which I've been unable to find anywhere since. Deciding to take matters into my own hands, I chose to reverse-engineer it and 3D print one. Thingiverse seems to have distorted some of my photos, possibly because they didn't like the aspect ratio of the original images. I was initially hesitant about releasing the model as the original design wasn't mine, but I reached out to the company whose logo I thought was on the clamp (James Taylor Clamps) and they said: "I've looked through our old brochures and haven't seen a clamp like that. We haven't built anything like that in my 41 years here. Good luck with your project." It turns out, however, that was the wrong company. The design actually belonged to Taylor Guitars, and the clamp is a "kerfing clamp" they use and used to sell to guitar makers. They no longer sell it, but have given permission to Stewart MacDonald to copy the design.
