Kids around 5 will find endless fun with this basic catapult model that relies on just one or two rubber bands. The device promises to keep them busy for quite some time, as they enthusiastically throw objects all over the place. For ammunition, kids can print out TPU components, which reduces the risk of broken glass, but dried peas also work perfectly well. This simple project should be mostly harmless and a bit annoying at worst, serving as an excellent manual exercise for the young ones to master. Getting the catapult to fire in the right direction will prove to be quite challenging, however.
