Rubber-Band Bow and Arrow

Rubber-Band Bow and Arrow

thingiverse

A Saturday afternoon boredom led to an engineer friend and I having a printable bow and arrow contest with constraints: one 100mm x 100mm panel of parts, no more than two rubber bands, and no adhesive. The first revision had issues; the second, untested one addresses them. To assemble, print the plate and clean its holes, place leafs over the center piece with retainer plate at back. Fuse tabs using heated knife blade. Put hot filament in hole for guiding and mushroom tip on end cap with hot knife. Finally, stretch a rubber band across nubs on leaves to complete the bow, ready to load and fire pencils.
