Rua (Face-turning Rhombic Dodecahedron)

The Twistypuzzles forum member Matt Shepit created The Rua. It's a face-turning rhombic dodecahedron with cut depth identical to a Helicopter cube. This model is an exact replica of the puzzle that I designed. As proud as I am of this complex puzzle, it has several flaws and requires significant post-processing to function properly. Due to my current remake of this puzzle using completely different internals, I'm releasing old files now. This particular design is provided "as is" without any revisions. This specific design has only been printed in PLA, but I have no reason to believe it wouldn't work with ABS plastic as well. Parts List *NOTE: Some parts were split in half for easy printing without supports. The two halves are designated "A" and "B" in the STL files.* *NOTE: Two core files are included - one for ABS and one for PLA, with slightly smaller screw holes.* 1x Core (PLA).stl or 1x Core (ABS).stl 12x Center.stl (Hidden center pieces) 24x EdgeA.stl & 24x EdgeB.stl (Hidden edge pieces) 24x TriangleA.stl & 24x TriangleB.stl (Triangular face pieces) 8x 3CornerA.stl & 8x 3CornerB.stl (Three-fold corner pieces) 6x 4CornerStem.stl & 6x 4CornerBase.stl & 6x 4CornerCap.stl (Four-fold corner pieces) Optional: 12x Tiles.stl (Tiles for the puzzle) Additional Hardware Requirements: This puzzle requires 12 Dayan screws and springs for 57mm cubes, available for purchase at Thecubicle.
