I've had a blast designing this helicopter blade spinning assembly that deploys when your Motor ejection charge blasts. Using rubber bands to snap open the blades, they will spin and (hopefully) slow your rockets descent. I also make use of a small drogue chute (9" Estest) which is very undersized on its own for a rocket this heavy but along with the spinning rotor, i've recovered this rocket from launching multiple times. It uses a BT-70 body tube and can fit E and D sized motors (24mm). You will need some M3 screws (4 of them) at either 16 or 18mm along with 4 M3 nuts and the rest can be printed. i've attached a PDF with detailed instructions Parachute: https://www.amazon.com/Estes-2268-9-Inch-Printed-Parachute/dp/B00TKBM50I M3 Screws: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07VNDFYNQ Aluminum Tubing (Optional): https://www.amazon.com/uxcell-Seamless-Aluminum-Straight-Tubing/dp/B07WLN69T1 BT-70 Tube: https://www.apogeerockets.com/Building_Supplies/Body_Tubes/Low_Power_Tubes/56mm_x_18_Body_Tube_Estes_BT-70_size Kevlar Shock Cord: https://www.apogeerockets.com/Building_Supplies/Parachutes_Recovery_Equipment/Shock_Cord/Kevlar_Cord_100 Check out the video and if you decide to give this a shot, please share a make with me so i can enjoy it!
