I've been working on a construction yard for my real-time strategy game in Unity, and I'm really excited about how it's turning out. The first step was to create a new scene in Unity and set up the basic layout of the yard, including roads, buildings, and other features. Next, I added some props to give the area more character, such as cranes, trucks, and construction equipment. I also created some custom assets for the game, like a concrete mixer and a bulldozer. Now, let's move on to the fun part – bringing the yard to life with animations! I've been experimenting with different animation techniques in Unity, using blend trees and state machines to create realistic movements for the props. It's amazing how much detail you can add to make the scene feel more immersive. But what really gets me excited is seeing the construction yard come together as a cohesive unit. I'm planning on adding more features, like worker characters that will interact with each other and the environment in meaningful ways. The possibilities are endless!
