RTIC or YETI Two Piece Handle
cults3d
I desperately needed a custom printed handle for my RTIC cup, but unfortunately, I couldn't print some of the other available options because of bed size constraints. This particular design is cleverly crafted in two pieces, allowing my MP mini to tackle it with ease. To assemble the handle, you'll need a single 1/4" bolt measuring at least 1" in length, accompanied by a nut. A small protrusion on the hoop neatly fits into a keyway within the handle, effectively preventing it from spinning out of control. I successfully printed both components at approximately 60% infill for optimal heft and strength. To print the handle, I positioned it straight up, but to be honest, the quality was satisfactory while the strength could potentially be enhanced if printed horizontally with supports in place. After a bit of inside sanding, the print fit my RTIC cup snugly, but when I tried it on a friend's YETI mug, it didn't quite reach the desired height. You may need to scale the design by a few percent to achieve your preferred height.
