I've designed a custom solution for the RSLK-MAX robotic system's reflection sensor holder. The original setup had the sensor approximately 10mm from the surface, but according to the datasheet, the optimal distance is just 3mm. Moreover, the existing sensor was prone to shifting when the robot applied the brakes, causing inconsistent readings. To address these issues, I integrated a front ball caster (Pololu-3530) and created this custom holder. By removing the existing contacts from the sensor and using flexible wires with connectors or without, I've ensured seamless connectivity to the chassis board.
