rsilvers farm lads Form-1 Build Plate
prusaprinters

I am setting up a farm with some 1+ machines that were missing build plates.

Don't use ABS. Uses PLA or PETG.Make sure your printer doesn't print over-size as this is a close fit (about 0.2mm clearance for bolt head, and 0.25mm for Z-arm).

I used 30% infill and it was $7.23 in material at $20/KG. I used 5-outlines to help make it liquid-tight. You may want to spray clear paint on it to help seal it.

Epoxy on some 5x5x0.125 aluminum plate:

https://www.ebay.com/itm/1-8-125-Aluminum-Sheet-Plate-5-x-5-6061/283237615122?ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT&_trksid=p2057872.m2749.l2649

Needs a 1/4-20 nut and bolt (1.5" long) with an 11mm head diameter. Push bolt in from bottom and add some glue.
Category: 3D Printer Parts
