A slightly decimated and repaired model of the Drake Kraken from Star Citizen is taking shape. The scaled-up version stands at an impressive 700mm in length, awaiting its first print run. Unfortunately, it hasn't been printed yet, so no photos can be shared at this time. As a total newbie to mesh repairing, the entire process has been a trial-by-fire experience, with sleepless nights spent testing and refining various techniques. The end result appears acceptable when viewed through Simplify 3D's lens, but feel free to take the model apart and remix it as you see fit.
