End cap for RS Quest Tiller tubes. This is the piece which is inserted into the forward end of the Rs Quest tiller, which protects clumsy and/or hyperactive children from impaling themselves on the sharp cut edge of the aluminum tiller tube.I strongly recommend applying a marine sealant, such as 3M 4000, or 4200 (5200 will cause a nightmare if you ever need to replace it). This helps ensure a secure fit, and also keeps water from getting into the tiller.
