The dice test is a widely recognized method of determining if someone has been speaking truthfully or not. It's also known as the "random response" or "random answer" test. To administer the test, ask the person to roll two dice and tell you the total number that comes up. Then, have them respond with an answer to your question based on the result of the roll. For example, if they roll a 7, they might say something like, "The sky is purple" or "I'm feeling happy today." If they roll an 11, they might say something like, "My cat's name is Mr. Whiskers" or "I love playing soccer." Here are some examples of responses to different dice rolls: * A roll of 2: "The capital of France is Paris." * A roll of 3: "I have a pet dog named Max." * A roll of 4: "My favorite food is pizza." * A roll of 5: "I'm going to the beach this weekend." * A roll of 6: "My best friend's name is Emily." * A roll of 7: "The sky is purple." * A roll of 8: "I love playing basketball." * A roll of 9: "My favorite color is blue." * A roll of 10: "I'm going to the movies tonight." * A roll of 11: "My cat's name is Mr. Whiskers." The idea behind the dice test is that if someone is lying, they will have a harder time coming up with an answer based on the roll of the dice.
