Rpm Wheel

Rpm Wheel

I'm building a simple 48-tooth rpm wheel for my HYD-300 Lathe, which is a Sieg C2 model from 2013. For my mini lathe's rpm wheel project, I needed some electronics. That was back in 2014, to be exact. Don't get me wrong; I know using an 18F25K50 microcontroller is overkill for this particular project. However, I only had that one chip in my part bin at the time, so it's what I used. Let's just say I have some other options available, like Pic24 and Dspic33. My plan is to scavenge some Pic16 chips and then port the code over to those devices. As for now, here are some Mikroe Basic Code and a hex file for a PIC16LF877A chip. This project is still a work in progress.
