RPI 7" Touchscreen Tilt Mount for Ikea Lack Printer Enclosure
thingiverse
Hi fellow makers, I've finally decided to publish this project that's been taking up my time over the last couple of weeks. I really like running my printer with the Repetier Server application via a Raspberry Pi and a web browser. However, from time to time it's convenient to have a direct interface next to the printer. Therefore, I've added a decent touchscreen to my Ikea Lack enclosure. Fortunately, Repetier-Server supports this feature as well and provides a very nice user interface on the screen. Unfortunately, I couldn't find a good "console-style" enclosure for the original Raspberry Pi 7" Touchscreen, so I had to design and build my own. Due to my current setup, I also wanted to tilt the screen up to a certain angle when using it for better ergonomics, but on the same side, it's essential to store it safely when not in use to avoid accidents. Now you know the story behind this project. I hope you enjoy this design and modify it to suit your needs as I did adapt it to mine. So happy printing...
