RPI 2/3/4 fan holder
thingiverse
I wanted to add a fan quickly to my new RPI 4 without abandoning my "case" that lets me connect and experiment. So, I designed something really simple, and I'm sharing the Fusion 360 files so you can play with them and resize for a bigger fan if you want. Right now, I'm using a Noctua 40mm fan that's been sitting around for a while. It's 12 volts, but it works just fine at 5v too, and it's incredibly quiet - keeping the temperature down to 35°C instead of the usual 48-50°C during idle. If you modify or improve this design, let me know!
