RPG Spell Templates

Set of spell templates I designed for fantasy roleplaying games like Dungeons & Dragons or Pathfinder when playing with miniatures on a game mat or using dungeon tiles. Typically, each 1" square represents 5' of space in the game and spell areas and ranges are expressed in multiples of that distance, usually starting at an intersection on the grid. To use them, simply place the base on the grid intersection where the spell effect begins and use the corresponding top for the type of spell you want to measure. There is one for bursts (the flat one so the ruler can freely rotate 360 degrees) and two for cones, one for 60 degrees (like in D&D 5e) and another for 90 degrees (like D&D 3e or Pathfinder). You can also measure lines without rotating the ruler. If the area is larger than 30' of range/radius, use the extension and keep it in place with a couple of brackets. Have fun!
