RPG gaming tray with lid

Fully parameterized gaming tray with lid. My dice went everywhere at the table and, more recently, sounded horrible during remote games.

The tray and lid have optional spaces for magnets and metal. Including these is described in the print instructions.

The tray and lid can be printed with PLA. The inserts can be printed with TPU at low infill to dampen the dice sound when they're dropped.

The OpenSCAD file is fully parameterized, so you can add your own logo, adjust the size of the tray, or make the center area smaller for a wider dice area.

One version of the lid is included with the Pathfinder glyph of the open road. This lid uses trademarks and/or copyrights owned by Paizo Inc., used under Paizo's Community Use Policy (paizo.com/communityuse). I used 2mm music wire from my local hardware store. The metal allows magnets embedded in the lid (described below) to hold the lid closed and snap in to place.

The gaps are small enough that they can be bridged over if you don't want to put in metal rods.

Lid: 15% infill, 0.2mm layer height, PLA/etc. The design is well suited to using an SVG logo and pausing at a layer height to change colors.

There are two lid files. One has space for three 12mmx3mm circular magnets. These magnets can be inserted with a layer pause command, similar to changing colors. There's a second lid with no holes if you don't plan to use magnets.

Inserts: 8% infill, 0.2mm layer height, 90A TPU. These are great for deadening sound and not having dice clank on bare plastic.
