Red Orange Yellow Green Blue Indigo Violet = ROYGBIV. These colors represent the Rainbow and the visible spectrum's order from longest to shortest wavelength. A 3D printed example would be an excellent way to showcase the science behind ROYGBIV. The design measures 180mm x 80mm x 17mm, making it suitable for most printers. The files needed for printing are: R -> Red = ROYGBIV_R01.stl O -> Orange = ROYGBIV_O01.stl Y -> Yellow = ROYGBIV_Y01.stl G -> Green = ROYGBIV_G01.stl B -> Blue = ROYGBIV_B01.stl I -> Indigo = ROYGBIV_I01.stl V -> Violet = ROYGBIV_V01.stl For a single print in multiple colors, use the file: All parts = ROYGBIV01.stl. You can then paint or sharpie each color individually. Special thanks to CelticOne for allowing me to use their high-quality image.
