I'm creating a customized expansion of the Small Parts Storage Box, amplifying its original size by an additional 30%.\r\n\r\nMy approach involves printing the hinges and latch components at a reduced infill rate of 75%, followed by printing the top and bottom parts with a minimal infill rate of 15%. To ensure the attachment points for the hinges and latch are robust, I add a high number of walls during this process.\r\n\r\nTo complete the assembly, you will need six M4 x 30mm bolts and six M4 lock nuts. Although M4 x 35mm bolts might be an even better option, I have not yet had the opportunity to test them as the current setup is functioning properly.\r\n\r\nI've encountered difficulties with the attachment points for the hinges and latch in the past, so I now print these parts with a high number of walls (five using the profile:magic.28 setting) and a 15% infill rate.\r\n\r\nEnjoy this customized box, one of several variations I've created based on the original design. If you're interested, be sure to check out my other remixes as well!\r\n\r\nImportant notes: The design printed on top of the box requires supports during printing, but all other components can be printed without any additional support structures.\r\n\r\nAfter completing your print job, I recommend cleaning up the holes with a 4mm drill bit to ensure easy bolt installation.
