Royal Palace Gate - Fes, Morocco

Welcome to Morocco! مرحبا بك في المغرب Bienvenue a Maroc! This model was created by MiniWorld 3D founder Dany Sánchez. Thanks to Mosaic Manufacturing for the stunning print you see in the photos, made with Pallete 2S. The New Entrance to the Royal Palace in the city of Fès, in northern Morocco, is a jewel of Moroccan craftsmanship. Built in 1969-1971, King Hassan II reoriented the entrance of the palace complex from the Old Mechouar in the north to a new southern approach facing the modern Ville Nouvelle of Fes. The gates are lavishly decorated with elaborate zellij mosaic tilework, carved cedar wood, and doors of gilt bronze covered in geometric patterns (from Wikipedia). See the Print Details section below for more info. MiniWorld 3D is excited to bring this model to life as a homage to all the people of Fès. This model was designed from scratch in Fusion360, no scans or repurposed Sketchup models, so it's pristine clean for 3D printing! Please give credit, it's all about spreading culture and education!
