I adored DonaldSayers game board at https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2809371, and cut one out for myself, but I yearned for a more compact version that would also stash all the game pieces in a smaller, neater package. I chopped the board roughly in half and designed a box to fit snugly into it and hold the parts. I inserted .125" dia neo magnets embedded in the board and box to keep the board together and the top attached to the box. Next, I painted the board and applied a thick coat of spray urethane all over the place. Furthermore, I drafted a simple set of rules that would fit inside the box and added an authentic Sumerian symbol for the back of the box!
