Royal Cone winder driver
thingiverse
This thing is an adapter so that a chordless screwdriver with a 1/4 square drive adapter can be used to drive a Royal cone winder. Use at your own risk. I strongly recommend using a chordless screwdriver only. If using a chordless drill, I strongly recommend using a chordless drill with a clutch set as low as possible and on the lowest speed range as possible. I strongly recommend winding manually from ball, skein or hank and then using power only for rewinding so the risk of a jam is greatly reduced. If winding fast or without a low clutch and if a jam occurs you might be hurt. This is a refinement of an idea from Cheri Martin Carrol.
