This DC-3 model originated with Sketchup 8 before being converted to various 3D formats. The native file is .skp, and the 3dsmax scene is formatted for 2016 version software with Vray 3.00 rendering engine support. Developed by GEnx engineers 707, engine mounting systems from Airbus A330 and landing gear from Mr Planet completed the aircraft build. The original DC-8-60 design comes courtesy of engineer 707 as well, while rintaro3776 contributed the winglet element. Just like we stated on our website (visit link below), these airliners underwent a thorough refurbishment to become something entirely new. Despite its revamped appearance, this plane still carries the DC-8 designation, although it's now referred to as DC-813ER - with ER denoting Extended Range capabilities. By incorporating four GEnx engines initially designed for 787s, pilots can operate their aircraft across a whopping 16,400 Nautical Miles or 30,400 kilometers. Keep in mind this exceeds the circumference of Earth by a mere 9,675 kilometers! Another notable distinction is that DC-813ERs feature unique double winglets integrated onto rear wings to enhance dynamics while eliminating eyebrow components from its exterior design. In a later update, we'll post our aircraft template online for you all. Currently, each of our ten DC-8 aircraft has undergone this impressive makeover into a DC-813ER, providing Extended Range flight capabilities with unprecedented range.
