Watch this video to understand how Roy is made: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JrwJQ4E91d4Airflow demo video:https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9DTl3_uiMuQAirflow measurement video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4EVhYHzNpwYI suggest using my universal print files (gcodes) instead of slicing.Upload the gcodes on an SD card and insert it in any printer. Launch the gcode from the printer interface, ignore warnings and proceed. Adjust temperature and fan speed once the print starts to fit your filament needsPrinter requirements for the gcodes: 0.6mm nozzle and at least 180x180mm buildplate Roy draws air from the sides and the bottom. The air drawn from the bottom is filtered by activated carbon, which removes odours and gases, the air drawn from the sides is filtered by Hepa Filter, which removes dust and allergens. Overall, the air in a room is filtered by both activated carbon and Hepa filter. Roy works with 120mm fans. The frame of the fan has to be removed by cutting with pliers. Then the fan is attached to the cap with thick double-sided tape. The best fan is UpHere, which is smaller then usual 120mm fans, that is why there is a custom "uphere" version of Roy. Use the "generic" version for other fans. If you choose a USB fan, you can add a "usb fan speed controller" (Google it) to adjust and increase USB fan speed. Cut 3 Roy filters from 1 30x60cm Hepa filter sheet. Google "Frameless hepa filter" to find itUse 3-5mm granular activated carbonWebsite: https://www.riverfamily.art/Contact: alessio@riverfamily.artHow to slice: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JNvp35-Kyu4Settings (Cura)Print settings for the Body:Body_1:Adhesion: raftLayer Height: 0.6Line Width: 0.4Infill Flow: 200%Walls: 0Bottom Layers: 0Top Layers: 0Infill Density: 9%Infill Pattern: Zig ZagInfill Lines Direction: [0,0,0,30,30,30,60,60,60,120,120,120,150,150,150]Infill Speed: 30 mm/sPrint cooling: offBody_2 (should be merged with Body_1), same settings as Body_1 except:Infill Density: 18%Infill Lines Direction: [0,30,60,90,120]Print settings for the Cap:Cap_1:Layer Height: 0.3Line Width: 0.4Infill Flow: 200%Walls: 0Bottom Layers: 0Top Layers: 0Infill Density: 14.5%Infill Pattern: GridConnect Infill Lines: yesInfill Lines Direction: [0,90]Infill Speed: 40 mm/sCap_2 (should be used as settings modifier and merged with Body_1):Walls: 2Bottom Layers: 100LICENSE: Public Domainhttps://creativecommons.org/share-your-work/public-domain/cc0/Also applies to gcodes, slicing process, pictures, videos and names
