This wheel is crafted for straightforward attachment to a motor. Its design bears some resemblance to the Mars Explorer Rover's wheel, although simplified. As part of ongoing development, I'm working on creating a mold that enables you to form a rubber tire around the wheel or alternatively cover it in a thin layer of sugru for added grip. The wheel should also function adequately on its own, especially on carpeted or rough surfaces. The OpenSCAD file offers numerous adjustable parameters, giving you the freedom to experiment and fine-tune to your liking.
