This is a Kort Nozzle for a homemade ROV thruster made from a Mayfair 750 GPH Bilge Pump. Adding this kort nozzle to the thruster will significantly boost output thrust by about a full pound. Specifically designed to work with a 3-blade, 50mm Robbe Boat propeller using an adapter with these specs, this nozzle was carefully crafted for optimal performance. As a prototype, the nozzle arms were initially a bit weak; however, I have since created a new version that incorporates a mount into the nozzle. This updated design is perfect for upgrading existing thrusters, and I'm sharing it here as well. This nozzle was specifically designed to work with a 3-blade, 50mm Robbe Boat propeller using an adapter with these specs. Print Settings: Printer Brand: MakerGear Printer: M2 Rafts: No Supports: Yes Resolution: .20 Infill: 100% Notes: STL prints as positioned with minimal supports. Even printed at 100%, this nozzle may not be waterproof, so keep that in mind when it comes to your Rov's buoyancy. The kort nozzle/thruster combo was designed to be mounted using a 1 1/2 conduit clamp. The conduit strap is attached to the Rov frame using a #12 stainless steel flat head screw. Using a flat head screw allows the mount to self-center to the mounting hole. It can be mounted to a flat or round surface, such as a PVC frame in this case; however, the area around the nozzle must remain open for proper flow.
