ROV chassis
thingiverse
Chassis for a test vehicle designed specifically for laser cutting into 3mm acrylic (photos) but can easily be adapted to any other material or thickness. Servo holders are incorporated along with rear axle supports that manage the caterpillars, complemented by 3D printed wheels. For the caterpillar, use a 20mm wide 103XL belt. The electronics showcased in the images consist of a BeagleboneBlack, a 3A switching regulator (buck-boost), and two standard servos. The floor height is achieved through separators of varying sizes, contingent upon the intended application. It's recommended to isolate electronic stages for optimal functionality. An alternative approach involves utilizing a long screw to secure the floors with nuts.
