Routerized Cupcake CNC for 6.7 mm plywood and some mods

This project features an updated RepRap Prusa after a long hiatus, using a two-month-old version of Tonokip firmware and Printrun on the host. The extruder is adapted from a Thingiverse design. It recently completed cutting Pandelume's CNC Cupcake router models, which required adjustments due to 6.7mm beech plywood thickness. Modifications included brass bushings from discarded printers, adjusted X and Y holes for bars, an 8mm brass rod for the Y-axis, and 9.5mm chromed polished printer carriage bars for the X-axis. The bot has rubber feet, a raised lower compartment, and uses an ACME screw Z stage. DXF files were edited with QCAD, converted to G-code using dxftogcode, and cut with EMC2/Axis on a 6040 CNC router at 400mm/min speed and maximum spindle speed. Precision was generally within 0.1 mm, with minimal edge deburring needed.
