I created this mount to fit the Isel DaVinci educational model CNC routers which many people like me have picked up from public surplus auctions. Small work envelope but built like a tank, including German-made ballscrews and linear rails, and a substantial cast aluminum fixed gantry. I upgraded the controller to the OpenBuilds BlackBox X32 and the router from a nice Kress unit which takes nearly impossible-to-find collets (always out of stock) to the RoutER11 router with integrated ER11 collet sold by OpenBuilds. Router has a 65 mm body diameter so I designed this to be 65.3 mm, then tightened with one bolt. Mounting holes use 1/4" or M6 bolts and clamp uses 5/16" or M8 bolts (designed for what I had on hand; 1/4" or M6 should also work just fine). I use two of these to mount the router. I printed with 30% infill (gyroid or cubic or zigzag seem to be good options for rigidity) but 20% is likely sufficient. Just used PLA on my previous mount for a Harbor Freight router and it worked great so I did the same here. This is the first thing I designed that felt like it was worth uploading, so please be gentle and constructive with feedback! Always interested in learning more, just please comment tactfully.
