Router table with incra style fence
thingiverse
A complete router table with fence. Using a Triton TRA001 router. Insert plate is made from double layer 8mm Lexan, where the top plate is slightly larger than the bottom plate so that it fits in a rebate in the table top, and the top plate also has a cutout for several insert discs, depending on the bit you are using. The discs are held in place with magnets. Fence is made from 4040 and 2080 aluminium extrusion, gantry plates and delrin wheels. Makes for a very stiff, yet smooth setup. The fence has a timing belt that is fastened at each end of the 4040 extrusion, allowing fine adjust via turning a knob. A stop block on top can be set to desired position and by using a dial indicator to reference of. You can easily adjust within 0,1mm, even smaller with a bit care. A locking knob next to the fine adjust knob locks the position firmly in place. A quick connect dust port is mounted at the rear of the 4040 extrusion, and a hole is cut out in the middle of the 2080 section, allowing for above the table extraction. Combined with dust extraction through the insert plate 99% of the dust is captured when routing chamfers or rebates.
