Router Table

Disclaimer, although this table worked great for me, there are several safety issues with this design. There are no guards or easy access power switches. In my opinion routers are a great tool but can be very dangerous. There I take no responsibility or liability for any problems if you attempt to build this. So anyways, here is my router table. All said and done I’m not sure how cost effective this was as it used a lot of plastic but designing, building, and testing it was fun. Table top was made out of a full 1kg roll of Overture PLA pro in Digital Blue. I would have made the table top out of CF PETG but the stuff is not cheap. The PLA top seems to be pretty strong so for now I think it was an ok choice. All other parts are printed with CarbonX PETG-CF When you slice this go overkill and think about rigidity. The table was printed with 5 walls, and 6 Top/Bottom layers. Infill was set to Grid @ 25%. This print will also be limited to anyone that has a 400mm printer bed or larger, sorry… I included the STEP file for the table so you could add your own router mounting holes if needed. Please see the pictures for the bolt pattern that worked for my old Craftsman router. All hardware is ¼-20 flat head screws. Some of them need to be cut down for the leg braces but kept It all the same so I didn’t have to buy a bunch of different bolts. There is a lot of parts here and it will take some time to print but if you find this interesting give it a try. Front and back use the same legs so you will need 2x of the Leg.stl and 2x of the Leg Right.stl Side supports are also the same so make 2x of the Side Support.stl The Miter Guage was not enirely my design so credit to Ken226 for making this great miter gauge top. https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:4676171
