Router Shelf Pin Jig (Customizable)

This is a jig for drilling rows of pin holes with a router, e.g. for shelves and boards. Using a router allows to drill precise and identical holes. The default design is made for router with a 17mm copy ring, however the design in the customizer allows other copy ring diameters. The default settings for the jig are 32mm hole-hole distance and 37mm hole-fence distance, which is also common for cup hinges. The jig can be printed with or without support fingers, which can prevent tilting the router. If you print the multiple times, the jigs can be connected to give a long jig - avoiding the need to shift the jig. The last holes on a jig have 1/2 hole-hole distance to the edge, so joining 2 jigs gives again the correct hole-hole distance for these. In order to connect 2 jigs use 2x M4 threading rod ~70mm + 4x M4 nuts. The files contains also a pin holder/adapter that fits into 17mm holes and allow to shift and align the jig after having drilled a sequence of pin holes. My i3 Mega prints inner diameter cut-outs 0.4mm too tight. This is compensated by cutout_adjust model parameter. *In order to get a tight fit for the copy ring adjust this parameter according to the precision of your printer.* Happy routing! Updates: - [2019-03-05] Optional flat version without side fence - [2019-02-20] Added 2 drillings in fence for attaching wooden or printed spacer elements to the fence. Additional spacers between fence and workpiece allow to reduce the hole-to-edge distance, thus give some additional design flexibility after having printed the jig. - [2019-02-20] Add some space for connector nut next to fence
