I'm fabricating parts to create 75 cubbies/lockers for my son's school. This undertaking required precision work, as I had to rout 600 dadoes for shelves, so you've got to be careful when volunteering, believe me. The problem began when a tool dropped onto the router base plate and gave it another dent, the second in less than thirty years since its manufacture; no wonder it costs little. This flimsy base plate, designed with plastic instead of sturdy materials, crumbled after a single hit - my fault for not picking a more reliable model. In constructing this template guide, a one-inch-diameter circle, I've used ABS glue to hold it together firmly inside the one-inch hole in the broken base plate. Its next task will be sliding smoothly into a corresponding slot within the shelf template, all while precision-crafting those crucial dadoes required for shelving installation. Conveniently enough, the damaged router base plate can also function separately without this auxiliary template guide installed. Specifications: 1 inch in diameter, glue through ABS one-inch hole in broken 152.4mm plate. Six inches (six-inch slot) fits and slides in shelf template to make dadoes Two-and-a-half-inches and four-and-a-quarter from the screw center. Raftless with no supports - No Print resolution at a medium or low scale
