I'm currently modifying my Print-Rite DIY 3D Printer to function as a lightweight CNC router. I have built this part previously, so I know it will fit seamlessly within the printer, and you can easily swap out the extruder motor (or any other NEMA17 motor) for mounting purposes. Unfortunately, I haven't installed a chuck or bit on my motor yet, nor have I conducted functional testing. From what I've learned, the heater needs to be connected in order for it to function properly as a router. Therefore, I'm now designing a new Y-axis piece that includes an extra arm to hold the heater block while it's being used for routing purposes. Print Settings Printer: Rafts: No Supports:
