Router LIfter Digital Control

This project follows the lift for a Makita RT0700 type router/grinder (router lifter), see link below: https://cults3d.com/en/3d-model/tool/router-lifter-defonceuse-sous-table This numerical control can control a stepper motor for the up/down of the tool from 2 momentary push buttons but also enter the value in mm from a numerical keyboard (keypad). The electronic concept can be used for other similar projects (a milling machine, a drill press, ...) The files to be printed can be used as an example for your Electronic hardware which can differ from the one used for this project. You will need the following list to achieve the same result: ATMega 2560 (Arduino type), using an original version of Arduino Mega may impact the mounting holes on it Warning: Arduino Uno does not have enough PWM pins to realize this project Nokia 5110 LCD screen 2 metal momentary push buttons (12 mm diameter) Arduino digital keyboard (4x4 Matrix keypad) Driver A4988 Nema 17 HS2408 motor A mini breadboard A 100µF 16v capacitor to protect the 12v supply of the stepper motor Note: it is important to set the driver current limit according to your motor (in the case of this project, we get 0.48v) Vref = Imax * 8 * Rsens Imax = motor manufacturer's characteristic Rsens (see on your driver), example screen printing R100 = 0,1 ohm ; R050 = 0,05 ohm ; R200 = 0,2 ohm ; ... This project includes the Electronic circuit diagram, the Arduino code (do not forget before uploading, to add the libraries in your Arduino IDE) If you use a derivative version like me of the Arduino, download the driver recommended by the manufacturer (example: CH340) I will complete this page according to your remarks and comments.
