Router Jig for Guitar Stand Neck Pocket
thingiverse
Router jig for cutting neck pockets in a wood guitar stand. I'll add pics as ADHD allows. Did this back in March 2021, but never uploaded. Lost the original design files. Requires a following bit. Bet to trace and rough cut, then finish w/ the router. There's a gap built in so the bit doesn't melt the jig. I used this design to cut 9 holes w/ the same piece, so it's durable. I set the jig in place with small screws on the underside of the top rail, so the holes wouldn't show. Notches on the jig were spacing guides, but the details as lost to me now. I think I had 2 different spacings for electric versus acoustic guitars. Don't really need to go crazy with infill, but make it sturdy.
