Router Jig for drilling holes (17 mm Festool compatible)
thingiverse
This jig is used to align a router with pinpoint accuracy for drilling precise holes. A precision-crafted copying ring fits snugly into the hole and securely locks the router in place, ensuring stability and consistency throughout the process. It's designed to be embedded within a sturdy piece of plywood, which provides the necessary support and rigidity. To secure it firmly in place, I milled out the space where it sits and applied a strong adhesive, specifically Uhu Hart, as demonstrated in the accompanying photographs. A brief video showcasing its usage can be found at https://youtu.be/LKiYG5srl6M.
