Power outlets are conveniently located nearby, as well as Ethernet patch points that make it easy to connect other areas of the flat. You'll want your router close by, but if you place it on a shelf, it can create a tangled mess of cables. What if I told you there's a way to attach the router directly to the NBN fibre modem? This innovative bracket allows you to hang your router off the NBN fibre modem, keeping everything organized and within reach. Due to the large size of the original design, I decided to split it into two sections that clip together. You'll need two copies of part 1 and two copies of part 2 to complete the project. Edit: After further testing, I found that the initial design was not robust enough and tended to bend over time. Although the heat from the router may have contributed to this issue, I've since updated the design with thicker pieces (7mm) instead of the original 5mm thickness. Since many NBN fibre modems come with an inbuilt PSU, the dimensions will be similar to mine. However, you may need to adjust the design to fit your unique router size. Piece 1 is the top section that hangs off the NBN box. You'll want to ensure it fits snugly around the NBN box, which is roughly 62mm wide on both sides. The cover isn't a uniform width, so this measurement should provide a comfortable fit. Piece 2 is the bottom section where your router will sit. You'll need to adjust the dimensions to match your router's thickness, which in my case was approximately 33mm for the TG-789 model.
