Router bushings
thingiverse
I'm designing custom router bushings for our box-making rig. The original set included a 50mm version, but we needed 37mm and 35mm sizes, so I scanned the 50mm part, imported it into AutoCAD as a JPG file, and then drew a precise outline of its dimensions. Next, I modified the center diameter to 37mm and added details for the locking and guiding mechanisms. To create the 35mm version, I simply made the central circle 2mm larger in diameter. Since we're working with just 4.5mm of 3D printed material, it's a delicate process. The print job turned out well, but it requires some sanding and filing to smooth out any rough edges or burrs. I've uploaded the AutoCAD drawings for your viewing pleasure.
