Router Base Plate
thingiverse
This is a replacement base plate for a woodworking router. I designed this because the hole in the base plate that came with my router was too small to accommodate one of my bits. The default parameters, and the ones used for the uploaded STL files, are intended specifically for the Porter-Cable Model 690. However, the design is customizable and should work equally well for any other base plate with countersunk mounting holes arranged in a uniform circular pattern. I originally designed this with Fusion 360, but the simplicity of the design (mostly a bunch of cylinders) seemed to lend itself better to OpenSCAD. A 3D-printed baseplate isn't going to stand up to wear-and-tear like a factory base plate made of phenolic would. I made mine out of PETG, with 5 perimeters and 20% infill. When it wears out I can print another one!
