I've been eager to utilize my vintage Craftsman Router (315.17370) from 1972 with my Porter Cable 7116 OmniJig, but a major obstacle stood in my way - the router guides that came with it were excessively long and extended beyond the template's boundaries. To overcome this hurdle, I invested approximately 20 minutes into creating a custom design and around nine hours to print it accurately. The result was a flawless fit that finally allowed me to integrate the OmniJig seamlessly. However, I did need to retrieve longer screws for the guide; despite this minor setback, I'm now able to employ my OmniJig with ease.
