Router/3d Print frame
thingiverse
Construct a robust 3D printer or router mill with ABS components, using an 80x40mm aluminum extrusion for the frame. Detailed instructions will be provided as the project advances. Recent additions include Z-axis sliders; these will be filed to ensure a perfect fit in the 80x40mm extrusion. Linear bearings (LM8uu) and a hex hole for the Z-axis threaded rod are also incorporated. To secure the nuts, they will be heated and pressed between the extrusions before being fastened in place. The design employs two shorter NEMA 17 motors on each axis for optimal performance.
